The Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Likes it Hot

The Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos has probably never seen as much fringe and feathers as it did on Saturday night during the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce’s gangster themed 10th anniversary party. Though the “Some Like it Hot” theme did reflect back to the ’20s when the first Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce started, Saturday night remembered 1999, the year that the newest incarnation of the chamber was formed and the people who helped build the chamber to what it is today.

El Camino Accelerates Hospital Plans

Ken Graham, CEO of El Camino Hospital, brought some good news to the Los Gatos Town Council meeting Monday night. He reported that instead of acquiring Community Hospital of Los Gatos in June, as planned, El Camino will be acquiring the hospital on April 11. That means Community will be closing temporarily on April 10, and re- opening in mid-July, almost eight weeks earlier than previously thought.
