Wildcats Beat Los Altos

Against Los Altos High on Friday, the Los Gatos varsity baseball team gave starting pitcher Nate Aguiar the run support he needed—and then some. Aguiar pitched a complete game, allowing six hits and two walks, and the Wildcats used a four-run second inning to blow past their league opponent 7-1.

Wildcats Land in Fifth

Senior starting pitcher Kevin Corey won his seventh game of the season Friday as the Los Gatos varsity baseball team defeated Santa Cruz High 6-5 to finish in fifth place in the Valley Christian Crown Classic tournament. The Wildcats (16-3) committed four errors in the game against the Cardinals (8-12) but were aided by two hits and a run scored from first baseman Colin Chapman.

Wildcats Fight for Fifth

The Los Gatos varsity baseball team will play for fifth place Friday in the Valley Christian Crown Classic tournament. Los Gatos defeated host Valley Christian 5-2 on Saturday, but was beaten 11-1 by Oakdale in tournament action Tuesday. Following the loss, the Wildcats rebounded to beat Union City-based James Logan 10-9 on Wednesday.

Los Gatos Beats Wilcox 4-1

Kevin Corey tossed a complete game and Travis Bonner hit a two-run home run as the Los Gatos varsity baseball team edged Santa Clara Valley Athletic League rival Wilcox High 4-1 on Friday afternoon.
Corey, a senior and team captain in his third year on the varsity squad, allowed five hits and struck out five Wilcox hitters to move Los Gatos overall record to 13-2
