Hundreds of business professionals gathered at the Silicon Valley Auto Group dealership in Los Gatos yesterday for an evening of fun and spirits tasting hosted by Infobayarea.com.

The business networking mixer aimed to bring local business owners together for an event featuring free gourmet food, tequila tasting, live music, fashion and a luxury car show.

Held at the car dealership on Blossom Hill Road in Los Gatos, women in cocktail dresses and heels and men in casual business suits milled around the mirrored automobile showroom while chatting and exchanging business cards.

“No membership, no drama, no politics. This is all about bringing good people together, business owners and professionals,” said Cesar Plata, owner of infobayarea.com and organizer of the event. “Its about business networking. A lot of people don’t even call anymore, they just text. We like to do business old school. It’s all about connecting professionals.”

On display at the event were over 30 of Silicon Valley Auto Group’s best luxury cars. Attendees oohed and ahhed at the Mustangs, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Ferraris and Aston Martins parked around the dealership event space, while glamour models from San Jose’s CoverModels.com posed with the sparkling vehicles.

Catered by La Nostra Pizza, Morocco’s Restaurant and EdibleArrangements.com, among others, the mixer also featured booths for spirits tasting, from such brands as El Relingo Tequila, Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, Tequila Comisario, and Blue Ice Vodka.
